At Grande Care, we provide support and aid to meet the specific requirements of clients with physical and sensory disabilities. A person-centric, specialised, and individual care plan is prepared after consultation with the client and/or their family. Listening carefully to our client’s wishes and considering their preferences ensures trust between the client and the carer.
Mobility, a medical issue, or difficulty with communication may be the main problems. Whatever the disability, our aim is to help provide a better quality of life in a client-led, holistic setting to promote independence and well-being. Encouraging independence at a client-led pace helps the people in our care lead more fulfilling lives, both mentally and physically. Gently pushing boundaries and working with clients to challenge their preconceptions and limiting self-beliefs and can lead to higher self-esteem and confidence.
As part of our care assessment, we complete a home safety report. Feeling secure and protected in a safe environment at home can increase our client’s confidence and well-being.
Grande Care will only select carers in the required specialist field to provide home care to clients with physical and sensory disabilities. Our in-house training department holds records of our carer’s skills and knowledge and provides ongoing training as required.
