The support of daily living tasks such as toileting, dressing and maintaining personal appearance can help with health and well-being. Tasks may include undressing and dressing, bathing, showering, applying creams and lotions, plus toileting.
Our trained and experienced health and well-being team can help you through a morning routine by offering sensitive and discreet support to help maintain dignity. We can also ensure you are safely tucked up in bed at a time that suits you.
Our personal care plans typically cover the following tasks:
- Bathing or showering, including bed-baths.
- Dressing and undressing.
- Oral hygiene.
- Applying lotions or creams.
- Applying make-up and haircare.
- Foot care.
- Toileting including help with using a commode or bed-pan.
- Changing continence pads.
- Changing or maintaining a stoma or catheter bag.
- Preventing bedsores by helping clients move whilst they are in bed.
- Helping with shaving.
